We are looking for hard-working and ambitious individuals with experience in machine maintenance in the manufacturing field to fill our Machine Maintenance Technician positions in our brand-new facility.
These individuals will be responsible for:
- Helping with installation of new equipment and movement of facility furnishing
- Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facility
- Maintaining a clean and orderly facility
- Using a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties
- Detecting faulty operations and defective material and reporting any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Performing other required tasks as assigned
At Accel, we offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the potential for growth. Our range for this position is $24-$32 per hour, depending on experience. We also have an average annual bonus of $10,000. We have positions available in our brand-new facility in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Physical Requirements:
- Must wear safety shoes (steel toe), safety eyeglasses, safety ear protections
- Must participate in company ear testing surveillance
- Must be able to work with sharp tooling such as scissors, cutters, knives, and other materials required to handle wire
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching
Shift:
- 1st (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
What we are looking for:
- Familiar with manufacturing, safety practices, and procedures (all backgrounds are welcome, electronic background is preferred)
- Experience with machine maintenance preferred
- Basic math skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Great attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Willing to work overtime and weekends
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- At least High School Diploma or GED Required
